Eligibility Requirements of engineering in Nepal

Formal Engineering Learning Program began with Tribhuwan  University In 1959 AD .In starting Time university only offered Diploma level engineering program only. Nowadays This university study Bachelor ,master ,and PHD     Program in Nepal. Later on Kathmandu (1991 AD),Purbanchel (1993) ,Pokhara (1997)  ,MID-Western (2010),Far-Western(2010)  University are Established .This is Great Achievement of engineering study in Nepal .University   give affiliation to theirs associate college. College need to follow University rules and Regulation. I give small example of university and college” University is family and College is family member like this”. 

A.Eligibility requirements   of  IOE(institute of Engineering –Tribhuwan  University )

1.Studunt Must have passed Intermediate level /Equivalent course  (Diploma in Engineering ,A-level )  at least secure 45% mark(physics ,chemistry ,2 paper of Mathematics 200 marks)
2. IOE give the Entrance exam ,(www.ioe.edu.np) and publish the result according to ranking. 

3.if candidate pass the IOE exam ,Candidate only apply for admission IOE and its Affiliated College.

Student are selected  strictly on the merit based of application.

B.  Eligibility requirements   of  Kathmandu University

1.The Candidate need to pass Intermediate level . or 10+2 or A- Level or equivalent   minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in Physics, Chemistry ,mathematics .

 2.This University also Take entrance exam and student are selected strictly on the merit + intermediate level marks ,achievement also.

C. Eligibility requirements   of  Pokhara University

1.The candidate need to pass Intermediate or 10+2 or A- Level or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Or Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science for getting admission in engineering.

2.Biology student also eligibility of engineering in this university.

3.Afflated college self conduct the entrance exam and take the admission.

D. Eligibility requirements   of  Purbanchal University

1.Candidate must have secure C+ Grade in all subject In Intermediate level and Equivalent level.
2. Affiliated college self conduct the entrance exam and take the admission.

E. Eligibility requirements   of  Mid-Western University
1. Candidate must have secure C+ Grade in all subject In Intermediate level and Equivalent level

F. Eligibility requirements   of  FAR-Western University

1. Candidate must have secure C+ Grade in all subject In Intermediate level and Equivalent level
